Decorative

Brush plating applies precious and decorative metals exactly where they're wanted — without immersing the whole part. Ideal for touch-up, selective accents and finishes on assembled or oversized pieces.

Typical components

  • Selective gold and silver accents
  • Decorative nickel and chrome-look finishes
  • Touch-up of worn or damaged plating
  • Architectural hardware and fixtures
  • Restoration of plated antiques and instruments

Why brush plating works here

  • Precious metals deposited only where needed — minimal material cost
  • No disassembly required: finishes applied on assembled parts
  • Consistent colour and brightness matched to the surrounding finish

Beyond Industrial Repair

Although the intention of the Brush Plating process was mainly for the repair of industrial components and OEM engineered coatings, the process has been used for several decorative applications. Gold plating of the rooftops on churches and mosques has been done using the brush plating process, as well as statues, railings, car trim and emblems.

Used mostly by the nuclear industry for product marking and lettering, black chrome plating is another decorative application made possible by the mobility and versatility of the brush plating process.
